Application for Vacancy. A. Any employee may apply for such vacancy. In filling such vacancy, the BOARD agrees to hire on the basis of seniority (length of service in the district) and qualifications. An employee (not on lay-off) may change positions no more than once in a school year, unless the position change entails an increase in pay or benefits.
