Notice of Vacancy. The notice for a vacancy shall contain: the job title; the salary range if below the present level 31 (Amherst) or 34 (Boston); a description of the position; the bona fide occupational requirements; the shift (where appropriate); the location; the closing date for applications; and, if the position is grant-funded or contract-funded, the termination date of the position, if known. A copy of the notice shall be provided to the Union.

Notice of Vacancy. 17.2.1 In the event the District determines the need to fill a vacancy, the District shall post a transfer request for five (5) working days internally. If there are no transfer requests, the District shall post an announcement of the job vacancy on the District website, send notice via e-mail to all employees, and post the vacancy publicly. Outside notices shall remain posted for a period of no less than ten (10) days. Notice of Vacancy. In the event of a vacancy, the Employer shall take steps to inform all Employees of such vacancy in writing, which will include providing written notice to the Union.
Notice of Vacancy. A notice of the existence of a vacancy in any section, including Librarian, must be given in writing to the Local and posted on the Orchestra notice board as soon as it is confirmed by the Centre.
Notice of Vacancy. When an employee opening exists, the position shall be posted in all buildings occupied by Board of Education personnel. In addition, the President of the Paramus Association of Educational Secretaries shall be informed of openings when the position is posted. Notice of vacancies occurring after the close of school in June and before the opening of school in September shall be sent to the homes of all employees not on duty wishing to be notified and who have left stamped, self-addressed envelopes with the Board Office.
Notice of Vacancy. Prior to filling a vacancy in a teaching position for the forthcoming school term created as a result of termination, resignation, retirement, or reduction-in-force, Bargaining Unit Members shall be informed of such vacancy through a notice distributed via email to all certified staff and posted on the District website. A copy of such notice shall be given or mailed to the Association President or designee and to each laid-off employee with recall rights. Prior to the summer recess period, Bargaining Unit Members with specific interest in possible vacancies will notify the Superintendent or designee of such interest, in writing, prior to the last school work day. Should such a vacancy occur, Bargaining Unit Members who have expressed an interest in said positions shall be contacted via district email.
Notice of Vacancy. Notices of bargaining unit vacancies will be distributed to the schools for posting; notices will also be sent via e-mail to all bargaining unit members and posted electronically on the District’s website. Vacancies shall be filled on the basis of qualifications. Information regarding job description, qualifications and salary shall be available upon request. No bargaining unit vacancies will be filled without prior notice of five (5) business days of said vacancy given to the Association. The Association shall be responsible for notifying the Superintendent’s office of the person designated to receive such notices and indicate where they are to be sent. For employees who have indicated an interest in a specific position by submitting a request with the District office, the District will mail the employee notice of vacancies for those positions in which he/she has indicated an interest. The District will mail the notice to the employee at the last address on file with the District. Employees with current information on file with the District will only be required to submit a letter of interest in order to be considered for a position. It is the responsibility of the employee to ensure this information is up to date. Vacancies are defined as bargaining unit positions that are not filled by a current employee. Vacancies will be posted pursuant to Section D of this Article, except when the District decides to fill the position with an employee who would have been laid-off or is on the recall list.
Notice of Vacancy. Whenever any vacancy in any professional position in the district shall occur during the school year, which position shall be considered to be a promotion as defined in “A” above, the Board shall publicize the same by giving written notice of such vacancy to the Federation and providing for appropriate posting in every school building. The vacancy notice shall include the descriptive title or scope of responsibilities, duties, salary and location of the position. No such vacancy shall be filled, except on a temporary basis, until such vacancy shall have been posted for at least seven (7) calendar days.
