Apprentice Program Full. Time Testing Points Preference points in regard to HB 2854 Public Act 101-0489: Any future full-time candidate requesting preference point relating to the Xxxxxxx Fire Protection District Apprentice Program, Intern Program, or Cadet Program must submit his or her request for preference points at the time their application for full time employment is submitted. Once the request has been made by the candidate, a Joint Apprentice Committee consisting of the Fire Chief or his designee, a member of the District’s Board of Fire Commissioners, the President of Union or his designee, the candidates direct advisor in the apprentice program, and the head of the apprentice program, shall meet in person to discuss and determine the validity of the points the candidate is requesting. If the Joint Apprentice committee is not in full agreement on the candidates points a vote shall be taken to determine the validity of the points that have been requested. Points shall only be awarded to qualified applicants who are in good standing with the apprentice program and have met all training, certification, ride along time requirements, and have previously gone through the Xxxxxxx Fire Protection District's Cadet and Intern program.   • Apprenticeship Program 62. The parties agree to meet to discuss the development of mutually agreeable apprenticeship programs. The specific provisions of the apprenticeship programs shall be subject to agreement between the City, the Civil Service Commission (where appropriate), and the Union. Each apprenticeship program, however, shall contain at least the following terms:

  • APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE The central parties agree that within sixty (60) days of the commencement of this agreement, a joint local committee consisting of up to three representatives each will be formed to discuss the feasibility of establishing an apprenticeship program(s). If such a program is deemed feasible, the local parties will determine the terms and conditions of such program(s). The joint local committee will seek the availability of any federal or provincial funds to cover the costs of such programs.

  • Apprenticeship 7.01 At such time, the parties agree to a training program, it is agreed to contact the California Nevada JATC to establish such program.

  • Apprentice Wages (a) Apprentices’ rates of pay are set out in Appendix B which includes the description of the calculations.

  • APPRENTICES 6.36.1 The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, if this Contract involves a dollar amount greater than or a number of working days greater than that specified in Labor Code Section 1777.5, this Contract is governed by the provisions of Labor Code Section 1777.5.   • Apprenticeship Supervision All apprentices shall be supervised by an appropriately qualified tradesperson. The parties shall implement the ESV’s “Supervision guidelines for apprentices working on electrical installations”. These guidelines were developed by the Industry parties under the auspices of the Office of the Chief Electrical Inspector.

  • Apprenticeships 20.1 The parties are committed to providing increased employment opportunities for apprentices and trainees through an effective manufacturing industry policy and an increase in apprenticeship places in the TAFE system.

  • Apprentice An apprentice is an em­ ployee who is in training to become a Jour­ xxxxxx Meat Cutter. Apprentices must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
