In-Service Programs. The parties to this collective agreement recognize the value of in-service education both to the employee and the Employer.
In-Service Programs. 7.01 (a) The Parties to this Collective Agreement recognize the value of continuing in-service education for all Employees and that the responsibility for such continuing education lies not only with the individual but also with the Employer. For the purpose of this Article, the term “in-service” includes: orientation, acquisition and maintenance of essential skills, and other programs, which may be offered by the Employer.
In-Service Programs. 7.01 The Parties to this Collective Agreement recognize the value of continuing in- service education for Employees in the nursing profession and that the responsibility for such continuing education lies not only with the individual but also with the Employer. For the purpose of this Article, the term “in-service” includes: orientation, acquisition and maintenance of essential skills, and other programs that may be offered by the Employer.
In-Service Programs. 1. The Director of Business and Operations may institute an in-service program which shall be offered to employees covered under this Agreement. Attendance for programs offered outside of normal work hours may be voluntary, and employees attending shall be paid at the rate of $12.00 per hour.
In-Service Programs. Any-in-service classes where the Hospital requires an employee to attend, will be compensated for such time at straight time.
In-Service Programs. 1. Within the fiscal limitations imposed by the budget, the District shall provide resources and training to develop and implement District goals, and to xxxxxx instructional improvement and professional growth of all teachers. District in- service opportunities will be a major component in assisting teachers in meeting such new licensure requirements as may be forthcoming.

The term "in-service" includes: orientation, acquisition and maintenance of essential skills and other programs, which may be offered by the Employer.
In-Service Programs. One (1) in-service credit for each fifteen (15) hours of preparation and/or participation if monetary compensation is not provided by the Board.
In-Service Programs. The Board agrees to cooperate with the Association in arranging in-service courses, workshops, conferences and programs designed to improve the quality of instruction. In-service programs shall be conducted during the in school teacher workday if teacher attendance is required. All such programs conducted after the teacher workday or during the summer shall be voluntary.
In-Service Programs. A The Board may institute “in-service” programs and require attendance thereat. Additionally, such programs may be proposed by any member(s) of the professional staff. Upon approval of any “in-service” program by the Board, the program will be funded from the educational budget. The Board or Superintendent of Schools shall schedule reasonable in-service training for teachers, after consultation with the Association.
