Common use of APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE. The Company and the Council acknowledge that they have a mutual interest in the promotion of apprenticeship training and to this end agree to maintain a joint committee with equal representation (up to six (6) members named by each of the Company and Council) to co-ordinate and participate in the selection and training of apprentices and to be responsible for responding to legislative program changes that impact on apprenticeship activities, provided that where such changes impact on the Collective Agreement they shall not be implemented until the parties to the Collective Agreement give their approval.
