MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. 10.01 The Company and the Union recognize that cooperation between the Company and its employees is indispensable to the accomplishment of the public purposes for which the Chalk River Laboratories has been established.
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. Section 1. The Company and the Union recognize the benefits of an open forum where information, mutual concerns, interests, and complaints (not covered by the grievance and arbitration procedures) affecting the workplace can be freely discussed, with a view to exploring possible solutions which are acceptable and beneficial to employees, the Union and the Company. Without limiting the opportunity for the Union and the Company to meet informally at the East Boulder Operations, the parties agree to establish a Management-Union Committee (MUC).
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. There shall be a Management/Union Committee. Such Committee may be composed of up to three (3) members designated by the COMPANY and up to three (3) members designated by the UNION, each with equal representation. The Committee shall meet within three (3) days, exclusive of weekends and recognized holidays, at the request of either Party. The Parties each pledge in good faith to deal with all matters pertaining to this Collective Agreement referred to the Committee.
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. 12.1 The Management/Union committee is comprised of ten (10) members. The City's team shall consist of representatives from the City Manager's office, the Personnel Department and the Public Utilities Department. The Union shall provide five (5) members to sit on its committee, at least three of which must be employees of the City. The five union members will be drawn from the Utility and Supervisory units, inclusive. This committee shall meet at least quarterly to discuss matters of concern to both management and the Union and a written summary of each meeting shall be prepared by the City. The committee shall have the authority to agree upon appropriate resolution of problems brought to its attention and affecting day to day concerns of both the City and the Union. In so doing, the committee shall be authorized to schedule meetings more frequently than the quarterly ones required herein in order to expeditiously respond to concerns properly before the committee.
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. Section 1. Periodic Discussions The City and the Union agree to meet periodically to discuss matters of mutual concern. This Committee shall be known as the Management-Union Committee on Employee Relations.
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. The Management-Union Committee shall be composed of three (3) representatives of the Local Union, and an equal number of representatives from Management. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time. The composition must include full-time and part-time nurses. The Bargaining Unit President, or designate, will identify to the Facility which committee members require payment under article 6.03(e) at each Management- Union Committee meeting. Such payment shall be at their straight-time hourly rate and limited to two (2) Committee representatives per meeting.
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. There will be a Management/Union Committee with equal representation from the union and management which will meet on a regularly scheduled basis to address non-grievance or non-contractual issues. It is understood issues raised or discussed by this committee will in no way prejudice the union, the employer or any employees’ position.
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. At the request of either party, a joint committee (either ad hoc or standing) shall be established to deal with such matters of mutual concern as may arise from time to time in the operation of the Employer. The Committee shall be composed of Employer and union representatives as named by each party, in equal numbers unless agreed otherwise, with an objective to maintain the total number of participants at a reasonable level. Employees participating on such committees shall not suffer any loss in pay for attendance at meetings. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party, within seven (7) calendar days.
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. The City, through its Library Director or his or her Designee, shall meet with a committee to be known as the Management - Union Committee on Employee Relations. Said meetings shall take place approximately once every two (2) months during the year. The purpose of said meetings shall be for the mutual exchange of opinions and practices, matters affecting the implementation of this Agreement, and other matters of mutual interest which may be agreed upon.
MANAGEMENT-UNION COMMITTEE. Joint Committee At either parties' request, a Joint Committee shall be established to deal with such matters of mutual concern as may arise from time to time in the operation of the Employer. It is recognized that the purpose of the committee is to promote joint problem solving.
