Common use of Article 34 - Adoption/Parental Leave and Article 34A - Maternity Leave Clause in Contracts

Article 34 - Adoption/Parental Leave and Article 34A - Maternity Leave. An Employee granted leave without pay for maternity reasons pursuant to Article 34 shall upon fourteen (14) calendar days notice of her intention to return to work, be returned to her former employment status. Prior arrangements for the payment of the Employee premium of contributory benefits shall be made prior to the leave.
