For purposes of defining tours of duty and calculating entitlement of overtime compensation except as otherwise provided in Section E.7, the normal day shall be a twenty-four (24) hour period which includes three (3) tours of seven and a half (7 ½) hours per day: It is understood that variations in the hours of work may occur in certain work areas.
