Common use of Article E – Union Security Clause in Contracts

Article E – Union Security. E.1 The Employer agrees to deduct from the pay of each Employee to whom any pay is due in that pay period, an amount equal to their regular Union dues, initiation fees, and/or assessments, if any, which shall be levied on a uniform basis on all Employees in the bargaining unit. The Union will notify the Employer in writing of the amount of such dues or assessments from time to time.
