Asbestos Lead. An employee who is requested to perform lead supervisory duties on an asbestos project shall be paid at the M-III rate of pay. Asbestos projects and the asbestos lead employee shall be identified by the District prior to the commencement of any work.

Asbestos Lead. Based Paint and Regulated Waste Survey. Seller shall allow Xxxxx, and Xxxxx’s agents and/or independent contractors, access to the Property without charge and at all reasonable times for the purpose of Buyer’s asbestos, lead-based paint, and regulated waste survey of the same. Buyer shall pay all costs and expenses of such survey. On or before _ , Buyer shall have determined in its sole judgment that it is satisfied with the results of and matters disclosed by Xxxxx’s asbestos, lead-based paint and regulated waste survey and review.
Asbestos Lead. BASED PAINT, AND MOLD ABATEMENT The contractor shall have the ability to provide for the removal or control of asbestos containing building materials (ACMs), lead-based paint (LBP), and mold (fungi) damaged building materials at various sites throughout the County. These services shall be on an as needed, if needed, basis. The contractor may assist the County department in meetings and negotiations with regulators, property owners, potential responsible parties, and other interested parties, including the general public.
Asbestos Lead. Mold and Toxic Waste Work: This Agreement shall also cover all work in connection with the handling, control, removal, abatement, encapsulation or disposal of asbestos, mold, toxic waste and/or lead abatement.

  • Asbestos Any material that contains more than one percent asbestos and is friable or is releasing asbestos fibers into the air above current action levels established by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The Work in the affected area shall not continue or be resumed except by written direction of District and by agreement by Contractor.

  • Dangerous Materials Tenant shall not keep or have on the Premises any article or thing of a dangerous, flammable, or explosive character that might substantially increase the danger of fire on the Premises, or that might be considered hazardous by a responsible insurance company, unless the prior written consent of Landlord is obtained and proof of adequate insurance protection is provided by Tenant to Landlord.

  • Prohibition Against Selecting and Installing Products Containing Hazardous Materials The Contractor shall not select, install or otherwise incorporate any products or materials containing Hazardous Materials within the boundaries of the Site. Should the Contractor or any Subcontractors have knowledge that, or believe that, an item, component, material, substance, or accessory within a product or assembly selected by the Contractor or any Subcontractor may contain Hazardous Materials it is the Contractor’s responsibility to secure a written certification from the manufacturer of any suspected material which identifies the specific Hazardous Material(s) contained, together with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for such materials which shall be submitted to the Owner and Design Professional.

  • Dangerous Goods, Special Wastes, Pesticides and Harmful Substances Where employees are required to work with or are exposed to any dangerous good, special waste, pesticide or harmful substance, the Employer shall ensure that the employees are adequately trained in the identification, safe handling, use, storage, and/or disposal of same.

  • Toxic or Hazardous Substance Any substance designated or defined as toxic or hazardous under any “Environmental Law” or that poses a risk to human health or safety, or the environment, and products and materials containing such substance. “

  • Explosives Explosives or other highly flammable substances shall not be stored on Railroad's property without the prior written approval of Railroad.

  • Pesticides In accordance with Section 17-1209 of the Administrative Code, to the extent that the Contractor or any Subcontractor applies pesticides to any property owned or leased by the City, the Contractor and any Subcontractor shall comply with Chapter 12 of the Administrative Code.

  • Contamination The presence in, on or under land, air or water of a substance (whether a solid, liquid, gas, odour, heat, sound, vibration or radiation) at a concentration above the concentration at which the substance is normally present in, on or under land, air or water in the same locality, that presents a risk of Environmental Harm, including harm to human health or any other aspect of the Environment, or could otherwise give rise to a risk of non-compliance with any Statutory Requirement for the protection of the Environment.
