Assigned Overtime. (a) The assigned overtime provisions shall only apply where an employee is notified prior to the conclusion of the employee's work day that there is overtime to be worked. (b) The employee to be assigned to work overtime under this Section shall be determined according to the following stipulations: i. If the overtime constitutes a continuance of the work day, then the employee who has been working on the job where overtime is required shall continue to work the overtime hours, or ii. If the overtime is to occur at any time which is not a continuance of the work day, then the employees will be assigned from the overtime list, subject to the provisions of Clause 19.02 Section (a).
