Common use of Assistance Conference Clause in Contracts

Assistance Conference. If an employee has applied for and not received four positions within a two year period, or if an employee has been reverted by the Employer, or if an employee has experienced an unsuccessful trial period, he/she may request an Assistance Conference. A representative of the Association and a representative of Administrative Services shall meet with the employee to help identify potential areas for improvement. Assistance may be offered through the professional development opportunities identified in Article 23 or through other sources.
