Associate Professor. Promotion to the rank of Associate Professor shall be based upon a record of accomplishment: (a) evidence of a positive record of performance as a teacher; (b) evidence of accomplishment in the discipline to be demonstrated by scholarly activity that is supported by external recognition of the candidate’s work; (c) evidence of service to the University and academic community, the discipline and/or the community. The records of annual Career Development Meetings and other materials provided under Article 12.03 shall be a primary source of information in assessing (a) – (c) above.
