Common use of Association Participation-Teacher Represented Clause in Contracts

Association Participation-Teacher Represented. The Board acknowledges the right of the Association's grievance representative(s) to participate in the processing of a grievance at any level, and no teacher shall be required to discuss any grievance in the absence of the Association's representative(s).

Association Participation-Teacher Represented. The Board acknowledges the right of the Association's grievance representative(s) teacher to participate in have an Association representative present, if the processing of a grievance grievant requests one, at any level, and no step of the grievance procedure. No teacher shall be required to discuss any grievance if the Association representative, if one is requested by the grievant, is not present. However, nothing in this subparagraph D shall excuse the absence of Association or grievant’s failure to comply with the Association's representative(s)time limits set forth herein.
