Association Use of School Facilities and Equipment. a. Pursuant to Board Policy, the Association shall be allowed use of such office equipment, including email, computers, and courier services/intra-district mail, as needed to provide duplicating and information to the employees provided: 1. Equipment is available and not in use by the District. 2. Equipment is not removed from the buildings. 3. There is no delay in district business. 4. Association reimburses the District for any cost attributable to their use of supplies, materials, or facilities. Charges for facilities and equipment will depend upon the type of usage as determined by the Superintendent or designee. Failure to comply with Board policy shall result in the suspension of the privilege for at least six (6) months. After the six (6) month suspension, the Association may petition the District to reinstate privileges. b. The Association shall be allowed the use of the facilities of the District, excluding rent, for meetings when such facilities are available, and the meetings would not conflict with business of the District, if the Association abides by all limitations regarding heat and electrical power use. c. The District will designate an unobstructed bulletin board in any facility where employees of the bargaining unit are working for the posting of Association notices.
