ASUC Commercial Activities Auxiliary. The University will, within sixty (60) days after the Effective Date, establish, and will, after consultation with the ASUC, staff and maintain a new administrative and accounting unit, to be called the ASUC Commercial Activities Auxiliary (the "Auxiliary"), whose Director shall be a University employee who shall report to UCB's Chancellor or his/her designee, and who shall be appointed following the advice and consent of the Board. 1.1.1 The Auxiliary shall negotiate and manage leases and other contracts with third party providers of ASUC Commercial Activities pursuant to the direction of the ASUC Store Operations Board (the "Board" described in Section 1.2, below); provide landlord services to such providers; and carry out such other functions, including those described in Section 6, below, as directed by the Board. 1.1.2 The Auxiliary shall not undertake any function not directly related to ASUC Student Activities or ASUC Commercial Activities. 1.1.3 The Director of the Auxiliary shall meet regularly with the Board, and shall review, consider in good faith, and respond in writing to each recommendation, report, or direction of that Board.

  • Technical and Organisational Measures (1) Before the commencement of processing, the Supplier shall document the execution of the necessary Technical and Organisational Measures, set out in advance of the awarding of the Order or Contract, specifically with regard to the detailed execution of the contract, and shall present these documented measures to the Client for inspection. Upon acceptance by the Client, the documented measures become the foundation of the contract. Insofar as the inspection/audit by the Client shows the need for amendments, such amendments shall be implemented by mutual agreement.   • Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union recognize the role of the joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthful workplace. The parties agree that a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Collective Agreement. The Committee shall govern itself in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Health and Safety Regulations made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act. The Committee shall be as between the Employer and the Union, with equal representation, and with each party appointing its own representatives. Representatives of the Union shall be chosen by the Union membership or appointed by the Union. All minutes of the meetings of the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee will be recorded in a mutually agreeable format and will be sent to the Union. The Union further agrees to actively pursue with the other Health Care Unions a Joint Union Committee for the purposes of this Article. The Employer agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Employer members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently.
