Attendance at Funerals for Highway. Patrol Sergeants Killed in the Line of Duty No more than one (1) bargaining unit member may receive leave with pay to attend the funeral of State Highway Patrol Sergeants, State Police Sergeants, or other Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty. Such permission will not be unreasonably denied. For funerals in adjoining states, the officers attending may drive a marked cruiser but no expenses associated with such leave will be paid by the Employer.

  • Employee Attendance at Staff Meetings (a) Where an employee is directed by the Employer to attend a staff meeting during their regular working hours, the employee shall be compensated at their regular hourly rate for the time spent in such attendance.
