Benefits for Part-Time Employees. A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.
Benefits for Part-Time Employees. (The following clause is applicable to part-time employees only)
Benefits for Part-Time Employees. (a) The following provisions apply to part-time employees hired on or after January 1, 1995, and to part-time employees who assume full-time status and subsequently revert to part time on or after January 1, 1995, and to full-time employees who become part-time on or after January 1, 1995.
1. Allowance for vacation, sick leave, holidays and other nonproductive time will be prorated as described in Title 3.5(a).
2. To participate in the benefits programs, employees must work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
3. All welfare benefits will have the appropriate premium allocation between Company and the employee based on the following formula:
(i) Twenty (20) hours per week = one-half (1/2) time.
(ii) More than twenty (20) but less than thirty-one (31) hours per week = three- quarter (3/4) time.
(iii) Thirty-one (31) or more hours per week = full time.
Benefits for Part-Time Employees. To the extent feasible, the District shall make available to Part-Time Unit Members group medical, dental, vision and life insurance at the unit member’s expense at no cost to the District.
Benefits for Part-Time Employees. (a) A part-time employee including a casual employee, and a temporary employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.
(b) Notwithstanding (a) above, all regular part-time employees who were employed at the Civic Hospital as of July 24, 1989 and who elected to continue to receive insured benefits shall continue to: receive insured benefits in accordance with Article 18.01, accumulate sick leave pursuant to Article L.11.3, enjoy entitlement to the cumulative sick leave pay-out provisions in accordance with Article L.11.4, and, subject to Article L.18.2, be entitled to statutory holiday pay pursuant to Article 16.02.
(c) Notwithstanding (a) above, and except as provided in (b) above, regular part-time employees enjoying entitlement under the terms of the former CUPE Local 576 Collective Agreement on the date of ratification or award of the Collective Agreement will continue to: be paid 6% in lieu of insured benefits for all hours of work paid, be covered by HOOGLIP Life Insurance pursuant to Article 13.01(c), accumulate sick leave pursuant to Article L.11.3, enjoy entitlement to the cumulative sick leave pay-out provisions in accordance with Article L.11.4, and, subject to Article L.18.2, be entitled to statutory holiday pay pursuant to Article 16.02.
(d) An employee described in (b) and (c) above will continue to enjoy the entitlements therein described for as long as he maintains his permanent status in his current position. Notwithstanding, if such an employee is displaced from his current position, he shall have the option of continuing to be grandparented with the entitlements under this and other related provisions.
(e) Notwithstanding all of the above, an employee who is temporarily transferred or temporarily transfers from one employment status or position to another shall retain their status in their permanent position for the purpose of benefits administration and entitlement during such temporary assignment.
Benefits for Part-Time Employees. Part-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be provided the same benefits available to full-time employees on a pro-rated basis. Employees who work less than .40 FTE, however, are not eligible for health or dental insurance or cash benefits.
Benefits for Part-Time Employees. 2.8.1 Benefits for part-time employees will be administered as follows:
a) Once an average of 14 hours of work per week for 1 month has been achieved, the employee will receive benefits for the following calendar quarter;
b) If during that calendar quarter an average of 14 hours per week is achieved, the benefits will continue for the next calendar quarter;
c) If at the conclusion of any calendar quarter an average of 14 hours per week is not achieved, then benefits will be cancelled and the employee will receive 10% in lieu.
2.8.2 Casual employees who have qualified for employee benefits and average less than 14 hours per week will receive 10% instead of the benefits listed in Clause 2.6.8.
Benefits for Part-Time Employees. A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay and pension, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to fourteen percent (14%) of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid. Any part-time employee who elects to join the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) will have their in lieu of benefits reduced from fourteen percent (14%) to ten percent (10%).
Benefits for Part-Time Employees. Section 1. It is understood and agreed by the parties that regular part-time Employees employed an average of fourteen (14) or more hours per week, but less than 40 hours per week, shall be eligible for benefits as follows:

On date of hire or during appropriate orientation the Hospital will provide full and part-time employees with a copy of the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) benefit booklet.
