FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE. In lieu of the basic daily excess fares and travel pattern allowance prescribed by Clause 38.1.1 of the award, a payment per day shall be made for each day worked (including RDO’s). This payment shall in no way limit or be construed as a payment in substitution for any other entitlement arising under Clause 38 of the award. Payments shall be as follows: ⮚ 1/3/03 $22.50 per day ⮚ 1/3/04 $23.40 per day ⮚ 1/3/05 $24.55 per day The cost of Citylink tolls or similar will be reimbursed for those employees who are required by the company to use their own vehicle during working hours, but not for travel to and from work.

FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE. Employees of the company will be paid in addition to the wage rates prescribed in this agreement a daily fares and travel allowance of $16.00 per day, if asked to report to site in own vehicle. Where the company provides, or offers to provide transport to the site, an allowance of $6.00 per day is payable, to employees picked up at a point other than the depot, with the exception of the driver of the company’s vehicle. Once the employee has travelled more than 100 kilometers to his/her site in his/her own vehicle, he/she is entitled to 50c per km for the excess kilometers travelled. If transport is supplied by the employer, employees will receive ordinary rates of pay for travelling time in 15 minute increments The driver of the company’s vehicle will be consider to be working at all times so occupied and paid accordingly. Employees who have reported to the company’s depot to start work will be paid ordinary time for all time spent travelling. Definition of site is any other location other than company’s depot.

FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE. An allowance of $20.00 per day shall apply when a Employee is required to travel from his/her residence to a worksite using their own transport within 75 kilometres radius of a Xxxxxxx Xxxxx Warehouse or Branch with no payment for travel time. Further, where the Company provides transport from the Employees residence or accommodation to the worksite (eg, by bus, people mover or other company provided vehicle) no fares or travel allowance will be payable for the day/s on which the Company provides such transport. If an Employee is required to drive a Company provided vehicle between the Employees accommodation and the workplace, the Employee will be paid thirty (30) minutes ordinary time for each of the forward and return journeys, (ie, maximum 1 hour per shift per day). . Apprentices shall receive the full amounts specified in this clause. Such payment will also be paid for days spent attending off site training (eg; TAFE etc).

FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE. 12.1 Employees will be paid in addition to the wage rates prescribed in this agreement a daily fares and travel allowance of $15.00 per day, if asked to report to a work site in their own vehicle. This rate will not be varied during the life of this agreement. 12.2 Where the company provides, or offers to provide transport to the site, an allowance of $5.10 is payable. This allowance will vary in accordance with variations to the award. 12.3 Once an employee has travelled more than 100 kilometres in his/her vehicle, he/she is entitled to $0.40 per kilometre for the excess kilometres travelled. 12.4 Where an employee is required to travel to a work location where the employee will be absent from home overnight (as a passenger in any conveyance) the employee will, whilst so travelling, be paid at ordinary rates of pay. 12.5 While working away and absent overnight employees will be accommodated and provided with all meals to a reasonable standard.
