Authority Rules and Regulations shall collectively mean the lawful rules and regulations governing the conduct and operation of the Airport promulgated from time to time by Authority pursuant to Applicable Laws including, without limitation, Policies, Standard Procedures and Operating Directives, and the Airport Security Plan, as well as the Airport Certification Manual, Ground Operations Manual, Surface Movement Guidance, Control System Plan and Airport Emergency Plan and any other operational matters related to the operation of the Airport, in each case as such may be in force and as amended from time to time.

Authority Rules. SECTION 1. The Authority's Rules existing on the date of execution of this Agreement, or as may be amended or established thereafter from time to time by the Authority Board or Fire Chief, in its/his/her sole discretion, shall be binding upon the Parties; provided, however, to the extent any Authority Rule is in conflict with an express provision of this Agreement, this Agreement shall control. SECTION 2. During the Term of this Agreement, any proposed change in the Authority's Rules, or any new Rule, which is in conflict with an express provision of this Agreement, must be expressly agreed to in advance and ratified by the Union and made part of this Agreement, before taking effect. SECTION 3. A Rule is not in conflict with a provision of this Agreement solely because it addresses a new issue or changes an existing Rule; nor is a new or existing Rule in conflict with an express provision of this
Authority Rules. These stipulate a mandate that the organisation derives from another body (for example, a ministry or a set of ministries). The organisation has a specific and limited mandate that orientates its mission – this can be economic development-related, but also more focused on ecological goals. Although the organisation can work relatively independently and its actions will not continuously be watched, if performance is not satisfactory the founding organisation can discontinue the river basin organisation. The organisation is relatively free to seek out ways of achieving its goals.

  • Governing Law, Regulatory Authority, and Rules The validity, interpretation and enforcement of this Agreement and each of its provisions shall be governed by the laws of the state of New York, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. This Agreement is subject to all Applicable Laws and Regulations. Each Party expressly reserves the right to seek changes in, appeal, or otherwise contest any laws, orders, or regulations of a Governmental Authority.

  • Safety Rules 5.01 The safety rules of the State having jurisdiction shall be observed by the parties hereto. It is recognized that the Employer has the exclusive responsibility for providing a safe and healthful workplace. To assist the Employer in maintaining an effective and continuing safety program, a permanent Joint Safety Committee shall be established, consisting of two (2) members from the Union and two (2) members from the Employers, who shall meet at regular times to administer educational instructions, investigate serious accidents, and to draft appropriate safety rules. Such rules as adopted by this committee, shall become a part of this Agreement.

  • RULES & REGULATIONS The Exhibitor must comply with the requirements of all Authorities and where applicable with all rules and regulations issued by the owner of the Venue in force at the time of the Exhibition. The Exhibitor undertakes to comply with the obligations and duties contained or referred to in the Contract including (without limitation) those contained or to be contained in the Exhibitors’ Manual. Exemptions from any of these obligations and duties may be granted at the Organisers’ discretion. No exemption given by the Organisers will be effective unless in writing. The Contract comprises these Terms and Conditions, the Exhibition Space Contract and the Exhibitors’ Manual) except as varied in writing signed by the parties.

  • Governmental Regulations Neither the Borrower nor any Subsidiary of the Borrower is subject to regulation under the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935, as amended, the Federal Power Act, as amended, or the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, and neither the Borrower nor any Subsidiary of the Borrower is subject to any statute or regulation which prohibits or restricts the incurrence of Indebtedness under the Loan Documents, including, without limitation, statutes or regulations relative to common or contract carriers or to the sale of electricity, gas, steam, water, telephone, telegraph or other public utility services.

  • Governmental Regulation Anything contained in this Agreement to the contrary notwithstanding, no Lender shall be obligated to extend credit to the Borrower in violation of any limitation or prohibition provided by any applicable statute or regulation.

  • SAFETY REGULATIONS Equipment shall meet all State and Federal safety regulations.

  • Other Regulations Borrower is not subject to regulation under the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935, the Federal Power Act, the Interstate Commerce Act, any state public utilities code or to any other Governmental Rule limiting its ability to incur indebtedness.
