Authorizer Development of Policies and Protocols. The Authorizer shall develop and maintain chartering policies and practices consistent with nationally recognized principles and standards for quality charter authorizing as set forth by the Act, including policies regarding charter school oversight and evaluation; organizational capacity and infrastructure; evaluation of charter applications; performance contracting; and charter school corrective action plans; suspension, revocation, renewal, and closure processes. This contract and the Performance Framework demonstrate, in part, implementation of its chartering policies and practices.
