Award of Merit. At his/her discretion, the judge may keep up to three dogs/bitches in the ring to receive an Award of Merit Rosette. This award is reserved for those quality dogs that the judge feels are worthy of final consideration for Best of Xxxxx.

Award of Merit. At his/her discretion, the judge may keep up to three dogs/bitches in the ring to receive an Award of Merit Rosette. This award is reserved for those quality dogs that the judge feels are worthy of final consideration for Best of Breed. Entries close at 6 P.M., Wednesday, September 10, 2014, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled, changed, or substituted except as provided for in Chapter 11, Sec. 6 of AKC Dog Show Rules. AKC governs this show. Exhibitors should read and be familiar with the AKC agreement and instructions on the reverse side of the official entry form. Telegraph, telephone, and unsigned entries cannot be accepted. Entries that are not on Offi- cial AKC Forms or photocopies of forms without the agreement and rules on the reverse side of the entry form are not acceptable. No Entry shall be made nor entry shall be accepted that specifies any condition as to its ac- ceptance. Make checks or money orders payable to CAHC. Foreign exhibitors must make fees paya- ble in U.S. funds. The show secretary is not responsible for cash sent through the mail. Mail all entries to the Show Secretary. For fax or email entries, please call Entries On Time at 0-000-000-0000. The Carolina Afghan Hound Club may decline an entry, may refuse to receive an entry, or may remove any dog due to disease, viciousness, or other cause. No claim or recourse shall be brought against the Carolina Afghan Hound Club, the show secretary, or any official thereof. Entries without fees will not be accepted. Acknowledgment of an entry will be made as soon as practical. If an exhibitor does not receive acknowledgment within a reasonable time, the show secretary should be contacted. Returned Checks or post dated checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The returned check must be made good with cash or money order before the dog is permitted in the ring. There is a $30.00 service charge for any returned check. Errors on entry forms. Owners are responsible for errors when filling out an entry form, regardless of who made the error. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event of such errors, nor will cancellation be permitted if the entry date has closed. The club and its show secretary assume no responsibility for the owner /agent entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to compete or for duplicate entries.
