Baggage and Cargo. THE CARRIER shall not be liable for damages resulting exclusively from inherent or hidden defects of the items being transported. THE CARRIER shall not be liable if it proves that the loss or damage to checked baggage or cargo occurred while they were under the exclusive custody of customs authorities.
