BARGAINING AGENCY AND RECOGNITION. The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole bargaining authority for all employees in its office in the Province of Alberta within the jurisdiction of the United Food and Commercial Workers Canada Union, Local No. 401, and within the classification of office and clerical workers listed in Appendix “A”; or within such new classifications as may from time to time be agreed to and established by the Parties. It is expressly agreed that this Agreement shall not apply to any elected or appointed officer or representative of the Employer.
