Union Policy Grievance. The Union may institute a grievance consisting of an allegation of a general misinterpretation or a violation by the Employer of this Agreement in writing at Step Number 2 of the grievance procedure, providing that it is presented within ten (10) working days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have originated or occurred. However, it is expressly understood that the provisions of this clause may not be used to institute a grievance directly affecting an employee or employees which such employee or employees could themselves initiate as an individual or group grievance and the regular grievance procedure shall not be thereby bypassed.

Union Policy Grievance. A Union Policy Grievance shall be filed with the Manager, Employee Relations within fifteen (15) working days of the Bargaining Unit Executive becoming aware of the circumstances, which gave rise to the policy grievance.
Union Policy Grievance. A complaint or grievance arising directly between the Employer and the Union concerning the interpretation, application, administration or an alleged violation of this Agreement shall originate at Step No. 2 of the Grievance Procedure within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the complaint have occurred. No matter may be grieved as a Union policy grievance, which involves a complaint from an individual Employee.
Union Policy Grievance. 23.01 A Union policy grievance, which is defined as an alleged violation of this Agreement, concerning all or a substantial number of the employees in a bargaining unit, may be lodged by the Union at Step 2 of the grievance procedure at any time within five (5) full business days after the circumstances giving rise to such grievance occurred or originated, and if it is not satisfactorily settled it may be processed to arbitration, in the same manner and to the same extent as the grievance of an employee.
Union Policy Grievance. 8.01 A Union Policy Grievance which is defined as an alleged violation of this Agreement concerning all or a substantial number of the employees in the bargaining unit in regard to which an individual employee could not or would not grieve or in regard to which a substantial number of employees have signified an intention to grieve, may be brought forward by a xxxxxxx/union representative, in writing, at Step #2 of the grievance procedure at any time within 5 full working days after the circumstances giving rise to such policy grievance occurred, and if it is not settled at this stage, it may go to Step #3 of the grievance procedure and ultimately to an Arbitrator in the same manner as a grievance of an employee.
Union Policy Grievance. 12.01 A union policy grievance, which if defined as an alleged violation of this agreement, concerning all or a substantial number of the employees in a bargaining unit, may be lodged by the chairman of the grievance committee in writing with the Director of Operations or his/her designate at Step No. 2 of the grievance procedure at any time within five (5) full working days after the circumstances giving rise to such grievance occurred or originated, and if it is not satisfactory settled it may be processed to arbitration, in the same manner and to the same extent as the grievance of an employee.
Union Policy Grievance. 13.01 A union policy grievance, which if defined as an alleged violation of this Agreement, concerning all or a substantial number of the employees in a bargaining unit, may be lodged by the Union in writing with the Associate Vice President or his/her designate, at Step 2 of the grievance procedure at any time within five (5) full working days after the circumstances giving rise to such grievance occurred or originated, and if it is not satisfactorily settled it may be processed to Step 3, and to arbitration in the same manner and to the same extent as the grievance of an employee. However, it is expressly understood that the provisions of this clause may not be used to institute a grievance directly affecting an employee or employees which such employee or employees could themselves initiate and the regular grievance procedure shall not be thereby bypassed.
Union Policy Grievance. A “Union grievance” shall be defined as a grievance initiated by the Union. A Union grievance shall be set forth in writing and filed at either Step Two or Step Three of the grievance procedure as outlined in Clause 20.11 as may be appropriate.
Union Policy Grievance. Where a dispute involving a question of general application or interpretation occurs, or where a group of employees or the Union has a grievance, Step 1 of the grievance procedure outlined in16.3 may be by-passed.
