Common use of Base Pay Clause in Contracts

Base Pay. An employee’s base pay is the employee’s pay rate exclusive of any differential, premiums, bonuses or other additional forms of compensation. An employee’s pay rate for all benefit time (e.g. vacation, holidays, etc.) and time worked shall be deemed to be at the base rate of pay unless specifically otherwise identified in this agreement.
