BASIC CABLE. For exhibition on basic cable in excess of the original 90-day use period, or for use of the infomercial on basic cable as a supplemental market, the Producer shall compensate each principal performer no less than the applicable session fee or “1st day of work fee” for each subsequent 90-day period on basic cable.

BASIC CABLE. Basic Cable," as used in this Agreement, means one or more basic cable systems which do not meet the definition of Pay Television (as set forth in paragraph A.2 above) and wherein the release on Basic cable is a separate release and not part of a free television broadcast. A basic cable release is not a supplemental market release where such release constitutes a public television release pursuant to Section 5.E or Sideletter 3. It is expressly understood that "Basic Cable" does not include theatrical exhibition and does not include methods such as community television systems when used to supplement free television transmission.
BASIC CABLE. For a broadcast on basic cable in excess of the original 90-day broadcast period, or for use of the infomercial on basic cable as a supplemental market, Producer shall pay for the benefit of all performers (except extra performers) no less than the applicable session fee or “1st day of work fee” for each subsequent 90-day period on basic cable.

  • Basic Life If an employee is not actively at work on the initial effective date of coverage, coverage will be effective on the first day of the employee’s return to work. The effective date of a change in coverage is not delayed in the event that, on the date the coverage change would be effective, an employee is on an unpaid leave of absence or layoff.

  • Basic Work Week ‌ a) The basic work week of an employee working full- time shall be forty (40) hours consisting of five eight hour days; b) Daily hours of work shall be consecutive with the exception of rest and meal periods. No split shifts shall be worked; c) Employees shall not work longer than their regular, scheduled work day, unless requested to do so by Management; in which event, additional time will be paid at applicable regular or overtime rates. Employees are required to leave the store as soon as it is reasonable to do so.

  • Basic Fee One-twelfth of the annual Basic Fee Rate for a class shall be applied to the average of the net assets of the class of the Fund (computed in the manner set forth in the Trust’s Declaration of Trust or other organizational document) determined as of the close of business on each business day throughout the month. The resulting dollar amount comprises the monthly Basic Fee for the class.

  • Basic Coverage Contractor shall provide and maintain at the JBE’s discretion and Contractor’s expense the following insurance during the Term:

  • Basic Life Insurance 37.1 The Employer shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the monthly premium of the basic life insurance plan. 37.2 The basic life insurance plan shall provide: (a) Effective June 1, 2002, coverage equal to one hundred percent (100%) of annual salary or ten thousand dollars ($10,000), whichever is greater; (b) where an employee is continuously disabled for a period exceeding six (6) months, the Employer will continue to pay monthly premiums on behalf of the employee until the earliest of recovery, death, or the end of the month in which the employee reaches age sixty-five (65). Any premiums paid by the employee for this coverage between the date of disability and the date this provision comes into force shall be refunded to the employee; (c) a conversion option for terminating employees to be obtained without evidence of insurability and providing coverage up to the amount for which the employee was insured prior to termination (less the amount of coverage provided by the Employer in the case of retirement). The premium of such policy shall be at the current rates of the insuring company. Application must be made within thirty-one (31) days of the date of termination of insurance. The Employer will advise terminating employees of this conversion privilege. The minimum amount that may be converted is two thousand dollars ($2,000). The conversion options shall be: 1. Any standard life or endowment plans (without disability or double-indemnity benefits) issued by the insurance carrier. 2. A one (1) year term insurance plan which is convertible to the standard life or endowment plans referred to in option 1 above. 3. A term to age sixty-five (65) insurance plan. 37.3 The amount of basic life insurance will be adjusted with changes in the employee’s salary from the date of approval of the increase or the effective date, whichever is later. If an employee is absent from work because of sickness or disability on the date an increase in insurance would have occurred, the increase will not take effect until the employee returns to work on a full-time basis (i.e., for at least one (1) full day). 37.4 Basic life insurance will terminate at the end of the month in which an employee ceases to be a regular employee unless coverage is extended under the total disability provision. Employees who receive a monthly benefit from the Public Service Superannuation Fund or the OPSEU Pension Trust are entitled to free coverage of two thousand dollars ($2,000) not earlier than thirty-one (31) days after the first of the month coinciding with or following date of retirement and this amount will be kept in force for the remainder of the employee’s life.

  • Fast Food Allowance As of 1 October 2020 the Employer shall pay an allowance of $2.75 per hour on all fast food construction, and on refurbishments with a building permit value in excess of $470,000. These allowances will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents. On any Project where the applicable site allowance in Appendix C is higher, then that site allowance will apply.

  • Basic Services The Architect/Engineer’s Basic Services include all disciplines identified in Article 15 and all related usual and customary design, consultant, and other services necessary and reasonably inferable to complete the Project, or any phase of the Project, in accordance with the Owner’s requirements and the terms of this Agreement.

  • Vehicle Allowance Vehicle allowances for all distances travelled while on employer business shall be paid to employees required to use their own vehicles in the performance of their duties. This does not include travel to and from work. Vehicle allowance shall be 40¢ per kilometre. Vehicles driven on employer business will be in compliance with ICBC Regulations.

  • Basic Service As defined in M.G.L. c. 164, § 1 and in orders of the Department, as amended or promulgated, as the case may be, from time to time.
