Common use of BENEFIT FREEZE Clause in Contracts

BENEFIT FREEZE. All accrued benefits frozen at the time of said leave except vacation which shall be utilized prior to being placed on unpaid leave shall be available upon return. Any employee on such unpaid leave may, at his/her option, continue the medical insurance program at the employee's expense.
