Bereavement and Special Leave. 24.1 It is the Authority’s policy to permit a permanent employee to take time off with pay for a period of up to six (6) days where such time off is necessitated by death in the immediate family. This includes spouse, child, parent (including in-law), brother, sister (including in- law), aunt, uncle and grandparent.
