Common use of Bereavement Leave-Memorial Service Clause in Contracts

Bereavement Leave-Memorial Service. For attendance at a Memorial Service that could be held at a later date for a death in the family, as defined in Clause 34.03(a), the employee may elect to use all or part of the five (5) Bereavement Days from Clause 34.03(a) Bereavement Leave to attend the service without loss of salary, sick leave credits, benefits, seniority, or experience.
