Their service includes commissioning, maintaining and adapting new and existing buildings, gardens and grounds and various facility management issues in such diverse areas as energy management, cleaning and security. The Director of Estates & Facilities is Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx. BIRKBECK, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON. Birkbeck, University of London is currently provided with the following waste collection facilities: Four (4) no. 1100 litre Eurobins for the disposal of uncompacted non-recyclable waste emptied six (6) days per week. These are located in the walkway between the main building of Birkbeck, University of London and the University of London (ULU) and accessed from Malet Street; One (1) no. 1100 litre Eurobin for the disposal of white, green and brown glass emptied on an ad-hoc basis. Located in the walkway between the main building of Birkbeck, University of London and the University of London Union (ULU) and accessed from Malet Street; Five (5) no. 1100 litre Eurobins for the disposal of mixed paper and small flat packed cardboard emptied twice a week. They are located in the cage area adjacent to the main building and accessed from Malet Street; One (1) no. 1100 litre Eurobin for the disposal of confidential waste located in the cage area adjacent to the main building and accessed from Malet Street; One (1) no. 1100 litre Eurobin for the disposal of co-mingled recyclables and one (1) no. 1100 litre Eurobin for the disposal of confidential waste located outside Egmont House, 00 Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx. 40 yard roll on roll off skip for the disposal of items during refurbishment works. Located at the Institute of Education and shared by neighbouring intuitions. Any clinical waste from Birkbeck, University of London generally falls into the Group B category (as defined in 3.6.2 below) and is removed by the institution’s cleaning contractor.

  • University Any notice may be served upon the University by delivering it, in writing, to the University at the address set forth on the last page of this Agreement, by depositing it in a United States Postal Service deposit box with the postage fully prepaid and with the notice addressed to the University at the aforementioned address, or by sending a facsimile of it to the University facsimile number set forth on the last page of this Agreement.

  • Technology License 4.1 Unless any event described in Article 2.2 or 2.3 of this Agreement occurs, all of the technology required to be licensed for any of Party B’s business shall be provided by Party A on an exclusive basis. Party A will try its best to license Party B to use the technology owned by Party A, or re-license Party B to use the technology as approved by the owner. 4.2 The Parties shall negotiate with each other to enter into specific technology license contracts to expressly specify the detail matters such as the technology to be licensed, the method to license the technology, license fees and payment.

  • SHOP XXXXXXX The Shop Xxxxxxx shall be a County employee as selected by the Union. A list of shop stewards will be kept current and sent by the Union to each department head and to Human Resources. Duties required by the Union of its stewards, except attendance at meetings with the County, supervisory personnel and aggrieved employees arising out of a grievance already initiated by an employee under Article 14 hereof, shall not interfere with their or other employees, regular work assignments as employees of the County. The shop xxxxxxx, or their designee, involved with a particular grievance must be identified at Step 1 of the grievance procedure and will be designated as the only bargaining unit employee who will be able to gather information pertaining to that particular grievance. The Union will make reasonable efforts to control the amount of investigative time spent between the shop xxxxxxx and the aggrieved employee. Meetings scheduled with management and other proper investigative procedures, and attendance at meetings specified in Steps 1 and 2 of the grievance procedure shall be considered hours worked for compensation purposes to the extent such meetings occur during the normal hours of work, and not otherwise. In order to use union leave for this purpose, Shop Stewards must notify the supervisor/department head of meetings and other commitments at the time these are scheduled. Attendance at meetings specified in Step 3 of the grievance procedure shall be considered hours worked during regularly scheduled business hours of the County for the xxxxxxx involved, witnesses and the grievant. The County shall not be liable for any overtime as a result of the meeting. Witnesses and the shop xxxxxxx involved shall be granted leave with pay to the extent their presence at the proceedings is required. If it is a discharge case the grievant shall not be paid except as provided in a remedy awarded.

  • XxxXxxxx Principles - Northern Ireland The provisions of San Francisco Administrative Code §12F are incorporated herein by this reference and made part of this Agreement. By signing this Agreement, Contractor confirms that Contractor has read and understood that the City urges companies doing business in Northern Ireland to resolve employment inequities and to abide by the XxxXxxxx Principles, and urges San Francisco companies to do business with corporations that abide by the XxxXxxxx Principles.

  • Research Use The Requester agrees that if access is approved, (1) the PI named in the DAR and (2) those named in the “Senior/Key Person Profile” section of the DAR, including the Information Technology Director and any trainee, employee, or contractor1 working on the proposed research project under the direct oversight of these individuals, shall become Approved Users of the requested dataset(s). Research use will occur solely in connection with the approved research project described in the DAR, which includes a 1-2 paragraph description of the proposed research (i.e., a Research Use Statement). Investigators interested in using Cloud Computing for data storage and analysis must request permission to use Cloud Computing in the DAR and identify the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) or providers and/or Private Cloud System (PCS) that they propose to use. They must also submit a Cloud Computing Use Statement as part of the DAR that describes the type of service and how it will be used to carry out the proposed research as described in the Research Use Statement. If the Approved Users plan to collaborate with investigators outside the Requester, the investigators at each external site must submit an independent DAR using the same project title and Research Use Statement, and if using the cloud, Cloud Computing Use Statement. New uses of these data outside those described in the DAR will require submission of a new DAR; modifications to the research project will require submission of an amendment to this application (e.g., adding or deleting Requester Collaborators from the Requester, adding datasets to an approved project). Access to the requested dataset(s) is granted for a period of one (1) year, with the option to renew access or close-out a project at the end of that year. Submitting Investigator(s), or their collaborators, who provided the data or samples used to generate controlled-access datasets subject to the NIH GDS Policy and who have Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval and who meet any other study specific terms of access, are exempt from the limitation on the scope of the research use as defined in the DAR.
