BIRTH OR ADOPTIVE LEAVE. 1. Upon the occasion of a Teacher's spouse, partner, or surrogate giving birth to a child or the adoption of a child, that Teacher shall be granted up to two (2) days absence with pay for the actual occasion of birth or adoption. 2. Requests for such leave shall be submitted on such forms as may be prescribed, and where possible prior to the leave.
