Common use of Board Promotion Outside the Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Board Promotion Outside the Bargaining Unit. Any employee who is promoted to a position by the BOARD, outside of the bargaining unit, shall maintain his/her seniority and have it frozen at that point. In the event an employee returns to the bargaining unit, s/he will bump the lowest seniority person in the occupational group from which s/he was promoted, if no vacant position exists in that group.
