Common use of BOARD'S RIGHTS Clause in Contracts

BOARD'S RIGHTS. The Board of Education reserves to itself sole jurisdiction and right, in compliance with the laws of the State of New Jersey and the rulings of the State Commissioner of Education, to hire, assign, promote, transfer and direct employees covered by this Agreement or to take disciplinary action against said employees (up to and including discharge) for just cause, to not renew the employment of bargaining unit members for the employee's first three (3) years of employment, to manage school operations, and to take whatever actions may be necessary to accomplish the mission of the School District except as may be specifically provided by the language of this Agreement.
