BRT subproject preparation and implementation. A Special Purpose Vehicle will also be established, as a 100% government-owned company, to implement and later operate the BRT route. As such, it will act as a second PMU, dedicated to the BRT sub-project. It will be placed under and will report directly to GDD. Its board will be chaired by the Chief Secretary, Government of Assam, and its members will include representatives of all main stakeholders of the sub-project. The SPV will be mainly responsible for (i) implementing the restructuring of the BRT corridor; (ii) designing future operations and business model for the BRT system; (iii) conducting negotiations and facilitating consolidation of existing bus industry to operate the BRT; (iv) procuring all BRT-related equipments, such as ITS and potential buses; (v) conducting training for bus drivers before the start of the operation; and (vi) preparing a communication strategy and conducting media campaign and community awareness. After the project is completed, the SPV will continue to manage, operate and maintain the BRT system. For four years, during project implementation and until revenues from BRT operations can finance all SPV recurrent administrative costs, India shall ensure that the State of Assam will finance (i) all salaries of the SPV staff; and (ii) the lease and other recurrent costs for the SPV offices.   • Project Implementation 2. The Borrower shall:

  • Joint Network Implementation and Grooming Process Upon request of either Party, the Parties shall jointly develop an implementation and grooming process (the “Joint Grooming Process” or “Joint Process”) which may define and detail, inter alia:

  • CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENTS Concessionaire shall not affix, alter, or erect any permanent or temporary equipment, structures, buildings, or additions to the Concession Premises without first obtaining the prior written approval of Department.

  • Inspection and Testing Each Constructing Entity shall cause inspection and testing of the Interconnection Facilities that it constructs in accordance with the provisions of this section. The Construction Parties acknowledge and agree that inspection and testing of facilities may be undertaken as facilities are completed and need not await completion of all of the facilities that a Constructing Entity is building.

  • Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work The Contractor will be required (a) to commence the Work under this Contract on the applicable Proceed Order Date, (b) to prosecute the Work with faithfulness and energy (c) to install the various parts of the work with equal steps shown on the Overall Project Schedule and at the same rate (or better) shown on the Overall Project Schedule and (d) to complete the Work within the Contract Time, as adjusted. Commencement of the Work shall mean actual physical work on the Site. Unless otherwise agreed, and subject to Change Orders, Material Completion of the Project must be achieved on or before the date established as the Material Completion and Occupancy Date under the Schedule.

  • Preconstruction Phase Services Preconstruction Phase Services shall mean all services described in Article 3.1, and any similar services described in the Request for Proposals, including such similar services as are described in the Construction Manager at Risk’s Response to the Request for Proposals to the extent they are accepted by Owner, but excluding any Early Work. Early Work shall be considered part of Construction Phase Services.

  • Inspections and Testing Each Interconnected Entity shall perform routine inspection and testing of its facilities and equipment in accordance with Good Utility Practice as may be necessary to ensure the continued interconnection of the Customer Facility with the Transmission System in a safe and reliable manner. Each Interconnected Entity shall have the right, upon advance written notice, to request reasonable additional testing of an Interconnected Entity’s facilities for good cause, as may be in accordance with Good Utility Practice.
