Common use of Budget Revisions Clause in Contracts

Budget Revisions. The budget is a schedule of anticipated grant expenditures that is approved by DHS for carrying out the purposes of the Grant. When Provider or third parties support a portion of expenses associated with the Award, the budget includes the non-Federal as well as the Federal share of grant expenses. Provider shall obtain Prior Approval from DHS whenever a budget revision is necessary because of: (a) the transfer to a third party (by subgranting, contracting or other means) of any work under the Grant; (b) the transfer of funds from other budget detail line items greater than ten percent (10%) of the line item; or (c) changes in the scope of services or objectives of the Grant. All requests for budget revisions shall be signed by Provider’s grant administrator and submitted to DHS’ Office of Contract Administration for approval by DHS management.
