Common use of Business and Professional Expenses Clause in Contracts

Business and Professional Expenses. The Board shall pay for or reimburse the Superintendent for appropriate business and professional expenses approved by the Board. Appropriate expenses shall include the cost of membership and participation in State and National professional associations of educational administrators, and expenses related to the Superintendent’s attendance at conferences and activities.

Professional development conferences which require out- of state travel or request reimbursement for overnight stay must be approved by the Board of Education.
