Common use of Call Back Outside Schedule Clause in Contracts

Call Back Outside Schedule. (a) Where an employee is called back to work by the Employer at any time outside the employee’s normal working hours, the employee shall earn compensatory leave credits or compensation at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) hours for each hour of overtime worked, or a minimum of three (3) hours pay at straight time, whichever is greater. (b) Where an employee receives phone calls at home from the Employer, the employee shall earn compensatory leave credits or compensation at the rate of one (1) hour for each hour of overtime worked, or a minimum of one half (½) hour of pay at straight time. Call back hours worked do not count towards the accumulation of hours for the purposes of Sections 7.01 and 7.02. See Letter of Understanding number #2
