Call Back Compensation. (a) Call back is an occasion where an employee has been released from duty and is called back to work prior to his/her normal starting time. On such occasions, the employee’s scheduled or recognized shift shall be made available for work, except that the Agency shall not be obligated to work the employee more than twelve (12) consecutive hours and the employee may choose not to work more than twelve (12) consecutive hours, excluding meal periods, of combined call back time and regular shift time.
(b) An employee who is called back to work outside his/her scheduled workshift shall be paid a minimum of the equivalent of two (2) hours pay at the overtime rate of pay computed from when the employee actually begins work. After two (2) hours work, in each call back situation, the employee shall be compensated at the appropriate rate of pay for time worked.
(c) This provision does not apply to telephone calls at home or overtime work which is essentially a continuation of the scheduled workshift.

(a) Call-back pay is used when an employee in a regular position returns to active duty and the work site at the request of the appointing authority or designee after said employee has been released from active duty and has left the work site. An employee need not be assigned to on-call or standby duty to receive call-back compensation.
(b) Call-back compensation shall be paid in the following manner. The employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at one-time the base hourly rate of pay for each call-back occurrence. Said compensation shall be in lieu of any travel time and expense to and from home and the first or last work contact point and shall not be considered hours worked for purposes of overtime. All time actually worked shall be considered as time actually worked for the purpose of overtime.
(c) Employees shall not be eligible for call-back pay in the following situations: (1) special tours of duty scheduled in advance; (2) the employee is called back within two (2) hours of the beginning of a scheduled tour of duty; or (3) the employee is not required to leave home. The employee shall report all time actually worked within a pay period. Such time shall be cumulative and shall be considered as time actually worked for the purposes of overtime.
Call Back Compensation. An employee who is called back to duty is compensated beginning from the time they report to their duty station or start to perform work. Such employee will be compensated a minimum of 2 hours of overtime compensation for each callback period. The 2-hour minimum does not apply to work performed at employees’ residences; however, such work is compensable in accordance with pay and overtime regulations. Note: Time spent at individual’s personal residence preparing to depart on a fire assignment is not compensable.

An employee who is called back to work and who reports for work shall be compensated for a minimum of four (4) hours at the straight time rate for the period worked, or the applicable overtime rate, whichever is the greater. Any subsequent call during the four (4) hours call-back period shall be considered part of the same call-back except in respect of call-back transportation allowance. The minimum guarantee of four (4) hours' pay at the straight time rate shall apply only once during each eight (8) consecutive hours on standby.
Call Back Compensation. Full-time employees who are called in, or in any other manner required to work hours that are not contiguous to their regular work shift shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours compensation at the contractual overtime rate. The call back compensation time shall begin once the employee receives notification of the call back request and immediate response is required. Full-time employees who have received twenty-four (24) hours or more notice of required work hours (excluding court appearances) that are not contiguous to a regular work shift shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours compensation at the contractual overtime rate.
