Common use of Call Back Pay Clause in Contracts

Call Back Pay. An employee who is called back to work following the completion of his/her work day and departure from his/her place of employment to perform his/her duties shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours of pay at his/her regular rate of pay at the appropriate straight-time or overtime rate or shall be paid for all time while engaged in the performance of his/her duties plus actual travel time to and from the assignment not to exceed one (1) hour of travel time each way. If an employee on standby is called back to work, call back pay shall be paid in lieu of standby pay.
