Common use of Campaign Clause in Contracts

Campaign. An Employee seeking public office may make application for a leave of absence, at full salary, during the campaign for election on the following basis: i. for election to the Parliament of Canada; leave for the equivalent of up to 30 days; ii. for election to the Legislature of Ontario, leave for the equivalent of up to 30 days; iii. for election to Municipal, Regional or County Office or Board of Education; leave for the equivalent of 5 to 10 days depending upon the nature of the office being sought.
