Common use of CAPACITY PAY Clause in Contracts

CAPACITY PAY. All engineers operating cranes and derricks with a manufacturers rated maximum capacity exceeding fifty (50) ton shall be compensated TWO CENTS ($0.02) per hour for each ton of the rated capacity in excess of fifty (50) ton. Long Boom Pay Section 4 and Capacity Pay Section 5 and Premium Pay as provided for in Section 6 of this Article shall not be pyramided, but the highest rate shall prevail.

Long Boom Pay Section 4 3 and Capacity Pay Section 5 and Premium Pay as provided for in Section 6 4 of this Article shall not be pyramided, but the highest rate shall prevail.

All engineers operating cranes and derricks with a manufacturers manufacturer rated maximum capacity exceeding fifty (50) 50 ton with less than 90 feet of boom or jib shall be compensated TWO CENTS an additional seventy-five cents ($0.020.75) per hour over and above the regular wage scale for each ton of the rated capacity in excess of fifty (50) tonoperating such equipment. Long Boom Pay Section 4 13 and Capacity Pay Section 5 14 and Premium Auger and Drill Pay as provided for in Section 6 of 15 or this Article shall not be pyramided, but the highest rate shall prevail.
