Capital duty etc. The Issuer shall pay any capital, stamp, issue, registration, documentary, transfer or other Tax and other duties, including interest and penalties, payable in Hong Kong and any other relevant jurisdiction arising from exchange of the Bonds (including but not limited to Tax or transaction levies or capital or stamp duties payable in Hong Kong in respect of the allotment and issue of Shares pursuant to these Conditions and listing of the Shares on exchange of the Bonds). The Issuer shall pay all, if any, Tax and other duties arising by reference to any disposal or deemed disposal of a Bond in connection with such exchange (other than taxes on gain or disposal or Exchangeable Shares or the overall income of the Bondholder or similar taxes). The Issuer shall pay all other expenses arising on the issue of Shares and on the exchange of the Bonds.

  • Special Duty Pay (A) High Work Differential. When an employee is required to perform work more than twenty (20) feet directly above the ground or water and use of safety ropes, scaffolds, boatswain chairs or other similar safety devices are required for support, the employee shall receive a high work differential. Rate: One dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour.

  • Special Duty The Employer, with the participation of the Union, will develop and maintain a process for the application of special duty opportunities for employees. Work requested by an individual or group, other than the employer, will be considered special duty. Examples include but are not limited to, lodge security and yacht club security. Special duty does not include events or other activities sponsored by the Employer. At events cosponsored by the Employer or conducted as a special event, assignments shall be made to interested bargaining unit members unless the specific job includes a majority of supervisory duties. The issue of special duty will be referred to labor management committees with the full expectation that they will pursue the matter and attempt to develop acceptable guidelines.

  • Member Nonrecourse Deductions Any Member Nonrecourse Deductions for any Fiscal Year shall be specially allocated to the Member who bears the economic risk of loss with respect to the Member Nonrecourse Debt to which such Member Nonrecourse Deductions are attributable in accordance with Treasury Regulations Sections 1.704-2(i)(1) and 1.704-2(j)(1).

  • Official Duty Station Each employee's official duty station shall be the service location or a designated office or address in such other community, as may be designated, for employees assigned to a Region. For employees whose home is designated as their official duty station, the Employer will conduct an assessment to determine the supplies and equipment needed to perform their official duties. Based on the assessment completed by the Employer, all identified necessary equipment will be provided. Such equipment may include, but not be limited to a:

  • Taxes Other Than Income Taxes Upon the timely request by the Interconnection Customer, and at the Interconnection Customer’s sole expense, the CAISO or Participating TO may appeal, protest, seek abatement of, or otherwise contest any tax (other than federal or state income tax) asserted or assessed against the CAISO or Participating TO for which the Interconnection Customer may be required to reimburse the CAISO or Participating TO under the terms of this LGIA. The Interconnection Customer shall pay to the Participating TO on a periodic basis, as invoiced by the Participating TO, the Participating TO’s documented reasonable costs of prosecuting such appeal, protest, abatement, or other contest. The Interconnection Customer, the CAISO, and the Participating TO shall cooperate in good faith with respect to any such contest. Unless the payment of such taxes is a prerequisite to an appeal or abatement or cannot be deferred, no amount shall be payable by the Interconnection Customer to the CAISO or Participating TO for such taxes until they are assessed by a final, non-appealable order by any court or agency of competent jurisdiction. In the event that a tax payment is withheld and ultimately due and payable after appeal, the Interconnection Customer will be responsible for all taxes, interest and penalties, other than penalties attributable to any delay caused by the Participating TO.

  • Union Dues Deduction The Company will deduct union dues from new employees who have worked a minimum of forty (40) hours.

  • Expenditure Limit The Contractor shall notify the County of Orange assigned Deputy Purchasing Agent in writing when the expenditures against the Contract reach 75 percent of the dollar limit on the Contract. The County will not be responsible for any expenditure overruns and will not pay for work exceeding the dollar limit on the Contract unless a change order to cover those costs has been issued.

  • Union Dues Deductions It shall be a condition of employment for all Nurses in the Bargaining Unit, that dues be deducted from their bi-weekly salary in the amount determined by the Union. The deductions for newly employed Nurses shall be in the first pay period of employment. The dues shall be submitted monthly to the Union together with a list of the Nurses from whom the deductions were made.

  • Membership Dues Deduction Any unit member who is a member of the Teachers 20 Association of Long Beach, CTA-NEA, or who has applied for membership, may 21 pay a lump sum cash payment to the Association or sign and deliver to the District 22 an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees and 23 general assessments in the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the District 24 shall deduct one-tenth (1/10) of such dues from the regular salary warrant of the unit 26 authorization after the commencement of the school year shall have deducted one- 28 periods.

  • Injured on Duty Pay An employee who, in the ordinary course of employment, while acting in a reasonable and prudent manner and in compliance with the established rules and procedures of the Appointing Authority, incurs a disabling injury stemming from the aggressive and/or intentional and overt act of a person, or which is incurred while attempting to apprehend or take into custody such person, shall receive compensation in an amount equal to the difference between the employee's regular rate of pay and benefits paid under Workers' Compensation, without deduction from the employee's accrued sick leave. Such compensation shall not exceed an amount equal to two hundred forty (240) times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay per disabling injury.
