Official Duty Station. 23.1 It shall be the duty of Management to establish the permanent duty station of each employee. In the absence of assigned state office space, the employee may be asked to use their home as the official duty station. Once established, the Agency will not change the duty stations without first complying with Article 46, Entire Agreement.
23.2 If the official duty station is the employee’s residence, and the employee is required to use a department phone with voicemail capability and/or a computer with internet access to perform DFW duties at that residence:
A. The Agency shall provide a department phone with voice mail capability, computer with internet access, which may be used only to conduct state business.
B. The employee shall be required to answer the department phone only during normal work hours.
C. Only the department phone number shall be published and/or given to the public.
D. The employee may be contacted by the agency during an emergency or on a de minimus basis on their personal telephone number.
E. A state vehicle may be taken to the residence. With approval of their immediate supervisor and in accordance with OFM regulations, employees will be permitted to park state vehicles(s) at their home for fewer than thirty (30) days. With the approval of the Appointing Authority or designee and in accordance with OFM regulations, employees will be permitted to park state vehicles(s) at their home for longer than thirty (30) days.
F. The Agency shall provide storage space for agency boats and other equipment.
23.3 The Agency will assign vehicles to field employees in accordance with State, agency policies and procedures for work related travel. Usage of assigned vehicles that is inconsistent with OFM regulations, agency policies or procedures may be subject to disciplinary action and loss of assigned vehicle.
23.4 The Agency shall establish a geographical area within which each field employee, not located in an office, must establish a permanent residence. Current duty stations are considered to conform with this Section.
23.5 Duty station changes will be discussed with employees sufficiently in advance of implementation to allow consideration of options.
23.6 Exceptions to the above residency requirement will be considered by the agency in light of an employee’s personal circumstances on a case-by-case basis and may be granted if agency objectives will be met.

The Employer will determine and provide the employee with the necessary equipment, tools and devices. The parties will discuss and attempt to resolve any issues at Labor Management Communication Committee meetings.
Official Duty Station. Each employee's official duty station shall be the service location or a designated office or address in such other community, as may be designated, for employees assigned to a Region. For employees whose home is designated as their official duty station, the Employer will conduct an assessment to determine the supplies and equipment needed to perform their official duties. Based on the assessment completed by the Employer, all identified necessary equipment will be provided. Such equipment may include, but not be limited to a:
1. Dedicated telephone line,
2. Telephone,
3. Voice mail, 4. Fax, 5. Computer, 6. Printer,
Official Duty Station. Each bargaining unit employee will be assigned an official duty station in accordance with OFM travel regulations. If the official duty station is changed, the employee will be given a fifteen (15) day notice, or a shorter notification period may be agreed to. If reassignment of an official duty station results in a commute in excess of thirty-five (35) miles (one-way) in addition to the current commute, the employee may exercise their rights under Article 36, Xxxxxx and Recall.
Official Duty Station. ALNW has seven (7) current designated bases (Arlington, Bellingham, Juneau, Olympia, Seattle, Bremerton, and Yakima). Employees will be scheduled into the base at which they are hired. ALNW will continue to evaluate community needs and may open or change bases depending on community needs and will bring any changes in working conditions and base changes to JLM for discussion. The following conditions will apply to nurses scheduled at bases other than Boeing Field International (BFI).
1. The Joint Labor Management Committee may review how the schedule is working.
2. Training more than one hundred (100) miles from base will be allowed lodging and food per diem, unless trainings are on consecutive days, in which case nurses more than eighty (80) miles will receive lodging and food per diem. Juneau nurses will in addition receive airfare and car rental.

If the official duty station is changed, the employee will be given thirty (30) day written notice of the change and the reasons for the change. If the reassignment of the employee's official duty station results in a commute in excess of thirty- five (35) miles in addition to the current commute, the employee may exercise his or her rights under Article 20, Xxxxxx and Recall.

Official Duty Station. The flexiplace employees’ official duty station is the location of the office to which they are assigned. Entitlement to locality-based comparability payment, special salary rates, travel allowances, and relocation expenses is based on the official duty station.
