Cash Out and/or Carry Over of Unused Vacation. An employee who has more than two weeks (12 days) vacation must use at least two weeks (12 days) of that vacation during the vacation year. Any unused vacation time as of January 1 the following year may be cashed out or up to one week may be carried over into the following year.
