Common use of Catastrophic Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Catastrophic Sick Leave. 3.12.1 Employees in the bargaining unit may donate eligible sick leave to any classified employee in the District when that employee or a member of his/her family suffers from a catastrophic illness or injury. Catastrophic illness or injury means an illness or injury that is expected to incapacitate the employee or a family member for an extended period of time.
