CEQA DETERMINATION. CONTRACTOR and County’s Project Planner will determine whether a categorical exemption or initial study is required.
CEQA DETERMINATION. In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, the Planning Department evaluated the proposed revision of Development Agreement No. 20-0078 to expand an approved 1,440 square-foot retail cannabis business into an 835 square-foot adjacent suite within the C-1/C-P (General Commercial) zone to determine what level of CEQA environmental review is required. Based on this review, the Planning Department determined that a revision to Development Agreement No. 20- 0078 meets the findings for a Categorical Exemption in accordance with Section 15301 (Existing Facilities, Class1) of CEQA. Class 1 consists of the operation or minor alteration of existing structures involving negligible expansion of the existing space. Based on this, the Planning Commission hereby recommends the City Council adopt this Categorical Exemption in accordance with Section 15301 (Existing Facilities, Class1) of CEQA.
