Common use of Chairperson / Meetings Clause in Contracts

Chairperson / Meetings. The membership of the LPDC shall elect a chairperson from its membership and other officers the committee deems necessary. Officers shall hold one-year terms, but may be reelected. A quorum shall be 4 of 5 members in order to conduct LPDC business. Meetings shall be called by the chairperson or by a majority of committee members upon petition to the chairperson. The chairperson shall preside over each meeting. There shall be at least two meetings per year. A member who misses two (2) meetings for reasons not excused by the chairperson shall be removed from the LPDC.
