Common use of Change in Allocation Clause in Contracts

Change in Allocation. When there is a change in allocation of a position, such position shall be considered vacant under and filled in accordance with the provisions of this Article. If the incumbent of a position which is changed in allocation is ineligible to continue in the position and is not promoted, demoted, reassigned or transferred, the layoff provisions of this Agreement shall apply.
