Common use of Change of notice to begin leave Clause in Contracts

Change of notice to begin leave. a) A Teacher who has given notice to begin pregnancy leave or parental leave may change the notice, (i) to an earlier date if the Teacher gives the Board at least two (2) weeks written notice before the earlier date; or (ii) to a later date if the Teacher gives the Board at least two (2) weeks written notice before the date leave was to begin. b) A Teacher who has given notice to end leave may change the notice, (i) to an earlier date if the Teacher gives the Board at least four (4) weeks written notice before the earlier date; or (ii) to a later date if the Teacher gives the Board at least four (4) weeks written notice before the date the leave was to end.
